The committed mind is fruitful soil where the seeds of Bible teaching can take root and grow. But a fruitful mind is teachable, just like that of a child. And children remember more than we will be able to imagine because the truth of God’s Word uncovers a place in a prepared heart.
Then the Lord can bring that truth to their awareness when they need it. It is feasible to cultivate a committed, teachable mind.
Withstand the outside garbage that can so simply distract the mind. Pledge to appraise life according to what you are hearing.
Eventually, commit to trying the truths that God impresses on your heart.
Consider it – if you go to church each Sunday with a committed mind, there’s no way to apply these non secular truths and still stay the same. A committed mind is a mind centered on what God has to claim. And how we live determines how we are sanctified.
