Being Humble

Some people have the concept that thinking badly of themselves is an indication of humility. If we are to chase humility, it’s necessary that we die to self. We must refuse to put ourselves first and instead ask God what’s His will in that case. And when God blesses other folks, we are to pleasure ourselves in the good things that come to them. If we wish to live with real humility, we must depend on Him in each circumstance.

When we direct our thoughts ceaselessly to His grace and goodness, our confidence in Him will grow. Ultimately , we must establish to obey God with no regard for the earthly implications. When you humble yourself before Him, you can mark that day as the start of the finest part of your life. But Paul is a gorgeous illustration showing how we are to approach God.
